I’ve spent a good deal of my career discussing with our elected officials the critical role media and its journalists play in providing essential content to the people we serve. Every local newsroom is part of the foundation of a democratic society. The health of local media business models is pivotal to providing that service to our communities and our country; that’s what drives me.

Throughout my career I’ve challenged myself to develop innovative strategies that meet the needs of the stakeholders of local media - audiences, journalists, advertisers and the hard working sales and marketing teams that fuel what we do. Through my experience, I’ve developed the skills to drive revenue growth and optimize resources effectively, while delivering products that truly serve our communities and enhance their everyday lives. With a track record of sustainable growth through strategic financial plans and fostering collaborative cultures, I’ve put together some truly high performing teams dedicated to achieving organizational objectives.

Local media is a team sport with a big responsibility. I consider myself extremely lucky to have been able to work with numerous talented people who’ve been the real drivers of success in the organizations I’ve been a part of as President, General Manager in Seattle at KING 5 and as VP, General Manager in San Francisco at KRON 4. I’m eager to continue this journey to ensure we’re doing our job for the public we serve.
